Who we are?


Mr. Emmanuel Turatsinze is a visionary leader and accomplished professional in the hospitality and tourism industry, with over a decade of experience in ultra-luxury hospitality management. As the founder of the Africa Hospitality & Tourism Professional Institute (AHTPI), Emmanuel is passionate about empowering Africa’s hospitality and tourism sector to achieve global excellence through professional development education, quality standards assurance, innovation, and strategic development.

Emmanuel’s career highlights include managing high-profile international projects, such as serving as Senior Accommodation Operations Officer during the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar and leading customer service operations at the World Expo 2020 Dubai. He has a proven track record in quality assurance, having implemented Forbes Travel Guide Standards and LQA protocols in luxury properties.

A certified hotel general manager by American Hospitality Academy, Emmanuel holds an MBA in Project Management and a Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He has received prestigious accolades, including a Certificate of Appreciation from Qatar’s Amir, Tamim Bin Hammad Al Thani, for his exceptional contributions to FIFA accommodation planning and management.
